This is our newest estate located in Via Pascoli at Fagarè della Battaglia, few kilometres away from Treviso city.

The vineyards has been implanted at 2008 Spring following a serious zonation’s project after 3 years of soil inactivity during it had been enriched with natural fertilizing such as dung and with others organic substances  (green manures) and with the sowing of mustard and clover.

At the extremities we have chosen to plant trees (oaks and conifers) and hedges to preserve the original landscape but also to shelter all the parasites’ natural predators to obtain the maximum equilibrium of the ecosystem.

The particular ground’s conformation of this vineyard, quite clayey and hard, has entailed the realization of an auto-draining system to permit the rainwater’s downflow to preserve the plant’s roots.

This vineyard will represent the hearth of the company during next years and it’s a clear testimony of our love for innovation and experimentation: modern and quite thick implanting system with several clones (7.500 vines for hectare) and rootstocks. To let the rows be exposed to direct sunny light without being scorched we have collocated them directing North-South: in this way the grape is protected during the hottest hours of day and is possible obtain an equal exposition to sunbeams for both side of rows from sunrise to sunset.

The first harvest will be at the end of August 2016.
